Film Screening: The Pickers (Elke Sasse, 2023) – Justice on the Table

📅 Sunday, October 26

📍 Be-Here

To close our Justice on the Table day, we invite you to a special screening of The Pickers, presented in collaboration with Cycle &Toile, the mobile cinema bike.

The Pickers (Elke Sasse, 2023) shines a light on the often-invisible struggles of seasonal and migrant farm workers across Europe. These are the people who harvest our fruit and vegetables under harsh conditions and for unfair wages, yet remain largely excluded from public debate.

Powered by Cycle &Toile, this unique cinema experience connects culture, sustainability, and activism.

After the film, we’ll open the floor for discussion on food justice: what fair wages, dignified working conditions, and sustainable farming really mean in today’s Europe.

🎟 Free entrance (donations welcome)
