Sprussel was brewed with Brasserie de la Senne’s friends from Stockholm Brewing Company. It is a Saison brewed with a double Scandinavian influence: it contains rye, a cereal that is typical for Northern brewers, and it is lightly flavoured with spruce tips that were plucked by Michel and his team in the Swedish forest. 5,8% abv, amber, slightly hazy. Fine and persistent foam. Lightly hoppy, with classic hops that develop herbal and fruity notes. The presence of rye defines its taste with a spicy note. The addition of the spruce tips is subtle but present, with a camphor and very lightly resinous touch, as well as with notes of pine needles, which go very well with the bitter orange flavour brought by the hops.
