Papy van de Pils is a light blond beer (low fermentation) from En Stoemelings brewery (Brussels). Samuel and Denys started their project in their university’s kitchen, almost in secret… which explains the brewery’s name “en stoemelings” (meaning using side ways, in secret). They opened their first production location in the Marolles, a famous old quarter in Brussels, before moving north to get a bigger space. They focus on drinkable, but quite heavy, beers as a way of expressing their love for zwanze and parties.
